    Description

    Collection
This is one of the nicest examples of the Harvard pattern by T. B. Clark and the exact piece is pictured in the Maple City/ Clark, ACGA re-print catalog, Clark 1905 section, page 25. I have include pictures, from the catalog, of this item in this listing. This is one of the earlier pieces in my collection. It is one of the rarer shape pitchers and believe it is a Dorflinger blank. It has a corset shaped body and is 12" high x 5 1/2" base diameter; reduced to 3 1/2" in the middle then 5 1/2" at the rim. Handle is double puntie cut and adds an additional 2 + - " to overall diameter. Glass is crystal clear and has beautiful light refracting properties. This piece is of the high quality and cutting is sharp to the touch and very precise. A very under-rated pattern. Very little uncut areas. Weight is a heavy at approximately 6 lb, 3 oz. Handle attachment is excellent and has appropriate shelf wear on bottom.  Great brilliance in person and much better than my amateur photography shows ! If you have any questions or need additional pictures; please ask and I'll try to take and/ or answer if I can.
Side note: Nice presence and affordable example of this pattern ! I paid more than my asking price for this pitcher at the time.
Free economical shipping with a buy-it-now purchase. The best way to receive free shipping, with buy-it-now purchase, is to 1. Make sure you don't have automatic payment selected in your buyer preferences 2. Buy-it-now. 3. Wait for me to send you an invoice that will have {{detail_product_description}}.00 shipping otherwise I will refund through PayPal.
For reference; if you become a repeat customer (lets say 3 items or more); I will discount shipping cost no matter the final sale price.
I have been collecting cut glass for almost thirty years and most of the cut glass, I am selling, is from my personal collection. A few pieces will be items I purchased to re-sell to help defer cost of the collecting. I indicate, where its coming from, as either re-sale or collection. Quality of items will range from above average to outstanding. Most items will be American brilliant with some brilliant period European color as well. I will give as much "known" detail about an item as I can. This will include maker, pattern, quality, any defects and/ or damage. I am a discriminating collector and only purchased items of the highest quality and condition.
    Shipping Policy
: shipping cut glass can be a little expensive due to it's weight and the need for double boxing. I will not compromise safely shipping an item to save a couple dollars. Some items will require direct signature receipt and insurance. I want your item to arrive in the same condition as it left. I realize my default shipping method selection of "USPS Parcel Select" may appear expensive, but I must pick something. Once you purchase; I will pack your item then ship using the most cost effective and reasonable service available. Typically and except for possibly Priority Mail; FedEx is cheaper for longer distances than USPS and vice-versa. Regardless; any over-payment is always refunded. The best option is to request an estimate before purchase or wait for an invoice from me, not Ebay, after purchase; that way you will know the true cost.
Finally, I will describe items with as much detail and accuracy as possible, but there is a small chance I may miss something minor. These items are 90+ years old and are being sold as is and not returnable. This is not a reflection on the condition or quality of any of the items for sale. My feedback is a testament to my customer service, quality of merchandise and honesty. Thanks for looking.
