AMERICAN BRILLIANT CUT GLASS WATER GOBLETS - RUSSIAN PATTERN
Available for your consideration is this set of 3 American Brilliant cut glass goblets in Russian pattern with honeycomb stems. The glasses have the quality of Hawkes or Dorflinger, no makers mark found. Each glass measures about 6 1/2" tall with a 3" diameter top rim and can hold about 11 fluid ounces. None of the goblets show chips or cracks, very tiny pin point nicks might be found on edges of cut pattern, and bases show superficial scratches from use or storage. The top rims of two of the glasses feels fire polished and the third, which is shorter then the others has a reground top rim. The two glasses with the fire polished rims have footed bases with reground and polished edges, reducing the original diameter of the disc bases. Simply stated, each glass has either a restored to rim or a restored edge on the base.
