Inside dimensions: Approximately one inch less than the outside dimensions
Material: All cedar, no plywood, no veneer
Construction: Glued rabbet-style joints, no nails
Finish: Matte finish shellac.  If you prefer a linseed oil finish, please send a change request after you order.

Update 6/27/2020: Available in Western Red Cedar, or Alaskan Yellow Cedar. If you want the Alaskan Cedar, please send a note to specify as you complete your purchase.   Alaskan cedar is stronger than western red cedar and has more scent than that of western red cedar.
