    Description

This large oil on canvas painting  in a Beautiful Gold Leafed Frame was believed to be an original of Eanger I. Couse
    (1866-1936)
when it was obtained about  50 years ago from Paul G. Gross International Galleries (NSID), Portland, Oregon, by the collector from whom I inherited it.
Couse (1866-1936)was an American painting mostly Indians in their natural settings.
This painting is said too have been painted about 1923, according to notes I have with the painting.
The nameplate claims it as an original , although it has been examined in recent years, by two experts of Couse works, both who say it is a copy. As an original it would demand very high values at auction.
It remains to be a Beautiful Decorative Piece appraised by a Professional Fine Arts Appraiser in 2007 for 00.00.
This painting shows dramatically with the fire reflections under lighting.
It is difficult for me to  good photos of this without glare, as I currently have only a confined hall space to hang it.
Hanging over a fireplace, as I formally had with my large home,  is the perfect place for it .
The title is "An Indian Youth Preparing Dinner" according to the notes attached to the back of the canvas.
The canvas is 34"X46", the frame 44"X56".
The Appraiser  judged it to be considered in "Very Good" condition.
This is large and heavy , the buyer will need to arrange for and make payment for local pickup and/or packing &  shipping.
EBay will collect fees  or direct to  "Zelle" the Bank of America
